The person selected for this position will be responsible for achieving revenue goals by developing and executing sales and marketing plans, in-person sales meetings and networking, marketing the entire restaurant and functioning as a public relations spokesperson to promote the restaurant locally.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
Setting business development and strategy for the restaurant
Extensive analysis covering all sales aspects of sales and preparing the marketing plan in line with the brand vision and objectives
Setting up overall business strategy-product development, communication strategy, budget, calendar, events calendar, digital media, social media and promotional activities
Manage and update of restaurant’s content on the website
Manage an events schedule to maximize yield and ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
Attend events, as required, in order to build relationships with a network of potential customers and develop possible business opportunities.
Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and knowledge: Degree-level qualification in a hospitality and/or marketing field
Minimum 5 years Experience in a sales role with a proven track record to close a sale
Excellent selling and networking capability
Knowledge of local market
Knowledge of hospitality
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
Positive attitude and good communication skills
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives

Graphic design capabilities
Knowledgable of all social media channels
Able to operate a professional camera photo and video
Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
Fluency in English
Salary Range 500 - 1000 JD
